To ensure the future of the industry through education,
the National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association (NGMA) is pleased to
announce that Devin Bridgen, Cornell University, was the recipient of
its 2006 scholarship.
With the funds, Devin, entered his senior year at
Cornell University, and is majoring in Biological Engineering (old name:
agriculture engineering) under the guidance of Dr. Louis Albright. He
plans on continuing his education by working on a Master’s Degree at
Cornell University.
The NGMA scholarship is for students majoring in
horticulture or a related field that are at least a junior at an
accredited four-year college maintaining a GPA of at least 3.0. Devin is
actively involved with Habitat for Humanity and has been on the Dean's
list several times during the past 3 years.
